General Information
SVCD unlike DivX is a standard. SVCD is NOT meant for PC playback. meaning, only do SVCD if you have a standalone
player, or if you have an Hollywood Plus / DXR3 / DXR2 cards. Some might want to play SVCD
on some sort of TV-Out cards such as Nvidia's or 3Dfx's, although, quality will not be the
same this way. SVCD is meant for 3 CDs!. SVCD is burned using MODE2/XA, therefore, a 650MB CD can actually fit 745MB, and a
700MB CD can actually fit 797MB. SVCD quality is about as close you can get to DVD.
SVCD Specs: 480x480/576 MPEG2 video, Audio: Stereo, MPEG Layer 1 or 2 Audio, 224kbits/sec.
